"Collages, that's stuff for your skin, right?!" - "No, more like for your heart!"

I was recently asked, since when I had been an artist. Well, I would say since kindergarten. I was thrilled by colours, wax crayons, that muddy papier-mâché and plasticines. Art is fantastic, because you can create your own world.

Until now, my passion is the décollages. Sure, I like collages, paintings and drawings as well, but the scratched, scuffed and bruised décollages layers of public paper give me a thrill. Also industrial ruins, rusty doors or weathered materials are fascinating for me.

I have studied history and literature. My exam was about the interdependencies between literature and paper cuts/silhouettes. It is more or less a classical german issue. But nevertheless, the mutual influences between artists and authors were tremendous - especially in the 19th and early 20th century.

Later I started collecting paper cuts. That was the beginning of a deeper interest in art.
